Nitra Church

Description

:This church was dedicated to the brothers Cyril and Methodius. Cyril created the Glagolitic alphabet (precursor to Cyrilic), and Methodius used this alphabet to translate the Bible into Old Church Slavonic. Both brothers worked together as missionaries to the Slavs.

:This guy really didn’t seem to like having his picture taken. Almost immediately after I snapped this shot, he got his things together and walked away—not a word of complaint—but he clearly did not want to be in any more pictures.
