Description

:A transcript from the Latin stone carving was translated into several languages. The English reads, “To the victory of emperors and army which, in the number of 855 soldiers, resided at Laugaricio. Inscribed by the order of Maximianus the Legate of the Second Auxiliary Legion.” There is an error in the Slovak translation which has been corrected by hand.
